SENATORIAL CANDIDATE
28. FALCONE, BALDOMERO
DEMOCRATIC PARTY OF THE PHILIPPINES

Baldomero Falcone, 77, is an entrepreneur and consultant, specializing in securitization. Most of his work has been dedicated to land reclamation for Cebu, finding employment for retired Filipino officers and relocation efforts for squatter residents.

This is Falcone’s second electoral race. He vied for the Senate in 2013 but lost after garnering 665,845 votes. He also ran for vice president in the 2010 elections but was disqualified by the Commission on Elections due to his lack of a political track record for such high office.

In 2013, Falcone promised solutions for poverty through a reformative use of pork barrel funds, both to provide credit to ordinary Filipinos without requiring land titles as collateral and to eliminate political dynasties. As of this writing, he has yet to release his 2022 campaign platform.
